Robert Henke presents CBM 8032 AV

You may know him as one half of techno duo Monolake, but Robert Henke owes his greatest fame to his installations and performances as an audiovisual computer artist. He is also known as co-developer of Ableton Live, the software program that every self-respecting dance producer has in their toolbox. On Friday, April 12, the Berlin-based electronics producer will present his show CBM 8032 AV in Pandora. Prepare for a visual and technical spectacle with old converted PCs, code-driven visuals and sounds reminiscent of Kraftwerk.

"CBM 8032 AV is a journey into the beauty of abstract graphics and sound created with five iconic early personal computers. The work deals with the ambivalence between a contemporary aesthetic and the use of obsolete, limited technology from more than forty years ago. What was and wasn't possible in the 1980s? Robert Henke challenges the spectator".

The program starts as early as 20:00 in the Pandora Foyer, where Creative Coding Utrecht presents the project "Noise Boxes". Take a look into the world of live coding and music and meet the community behind Creative Coding Utrecht.
