In an age of rapid technological progress, cutting-edge methods for creating visual content often steal the show. But what about the timeless techniques that laid the foundation for today’s audiovisual art? What tools did the early digital innovators rely on, and how can we draw inspiration from them to enhance our work with modern tools?
Creative Coding Utrecht invites you to "Audiovisual Potluck!" A meetup led by multidisciplinary artists Iver Kim and ARDEMAR. This event is a fusion of three experiences in one:
a workshop
a meetup of creators with dinner.
an audiovisual jam session.
It’s an opportunity to network with fellow enthusiasts, explore diverse styles of audiovisual art—ranging from those that are fading into obscurity to those at the forefront of innovation—and share your own ideas.
On the evening of September 24th, join the organisers for a workshop on connecting Ableton Live to Touchdesigner, complete with insider tips. The jam session will continue the theme of the workshop, but feel free to bring your own projects and concepts to the table!
What to expect in the jam session? You’ll have the chance to share your live visuals, engaging in a dynamic exchange of artistic expression with others.
