The Line-Up for Robert Henke's CBM 2048 Concert at TivoliVredenburg is live!
We proudly announce the supporting acts accompanying Robert Henke's CBM 2048 concert at TivoliVredenburg.
In the Foyer of Pandora you can take an inspiring look at the Noise Boxes Exhibition. Noise boxes are upgraded everyday devices that transform microscopic noises into soundscapes. These noise boxes are made from scrap electronics, foraged components, broken kitchen appliances, etcetera. Makers contributed to the expo with various expertises, such as hardware hacking, E-textiles and trash art. You will be taken on a trip from ambient to noise, drone to melodic. A noise box can be anything you want it to be, and on April 12th this night Etta Harbar, Michelle Vossen and Veerle Pennock will take you with them into this immersive sound experience, and you can also find out how to make your own noise box!
The evening will be opened by Dennis Weijers, an experimental musician from Utrecht. He fuses traditional and electronic music and reinterprets pieces by 20th-century composers. Weijers will mesmerize audiences with his Modular Accordion, performing pieces such as Steve Reich's "Variations for Winds, Strings and Keyboards" and the first two parts of John Cage's enigmatic "Organ2/ASLSP." Prepare to drift off into a world of experimental soundscapes and captivating narratives.
Concluding the evening, a Live Coding Performance you won’t want to miss. Timo Hoogland and Saskia Freeke take the stage to have you witness the creation of live-generated music and visuals. The coding is real-time, engaging and captivating the audience with its dynamic compositions.
