Artists

KATPATAT is a creative collective from Utrecht. They create cool interactive art, usually installations or games, focusing on the boundary between the real and digital world. Their work is all about seeing, experiencing, and playing, always with a humorous or absurd twist to keep things light. Most of the time, they build interactive installations and games, but if another form or medium suits their idea better, they’ll use that instead.

You can also book KATPATAT’s workshops and projects through Piece of Code! It’s a perfect match, because just like Piece of Code, they love experimenting with technology, art, and play. They challenge participants to look at the world differently, which is exactly what we value at Piece of Code!

Cris Mollee is a creative maker with a background in scenography and technology. She enjoys working with light, movement, and digital media. In her workshops, such as the AI Movement Clinic, she shows you how to use AI tools like Stable Diffusion to transform your own body into a moving video artwork. She’s always searching for new ways to combine technology with physical activity.

Piece of Code loves working with Cris because she’s just as enthusiastic about experimenting as we are. She knows exactly how to spark people’s curiosity and encourage them to explore all the possibilities of art and technology. Her workshops are also available to book through us!

Klokpack6ix (KP6) is a music and art collective with more than twenty members and affiliates, a true ‘mixed media clusterfuck’ of young rappers, producers, designers, writers, and performance artists. We love working with them because we both believe that learning isn’t about following a straight path from A to B, but about the whole journey of discovering, experimenting, and following your own curiosity. In our collaborations with KP6, you’re at the center: you pick your own theme or interest and are challenged to translate something from the physical world into the digital realm, whether that means making a video, turning objects into 3D models, or coming up with something entirely different.

KP6 works on projects like transforming old smartphones into solar-powered servers, or exploring digital identity by creating your own 3D avatar. Everything is about doing it yourself, experimenting, and reflecting; where the imperfect is embraced as something valuable and inspiring.
